DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME: SPRING FORWARD

I know everyone knows, but here's a cute reminder. Set those clocks forward if your state, territory, country believes in this strange practice.

  2. Thanks, I do like humor and sometimes it helps to get my message across. I guess you don't have to worry about Spring Forward and Fall Back, huh?

  3. Lol ! Actually we do! Every spring we set the clocks one hour forward and every winter we set them back an hour. It is very annoying and can take up to two days for your body to adjust. People arrive at work either late or early and the summer days just cruise by.

  4. Love the cartoon! I will remind myself to move my cats. On second thought, maybe it's better to let a sleeping cat lie....

  5. Yeah, Sugar, I think I'd move the window before I move a sleeping cat.

So the US isn't the only crazy country to use daylight savings time? We can't even get all states to use it and some states use it but not all the state.

By the way, all the daylight I've saved throughout my long life, I would like them back.

  6. Well, dad is happy about the extra daylight, as it gives him time to putter, be a lawn jockey, and otherwise enjoy the outdoors.

And it gives grandma and me extra daylight to sit on the porch and watch him. :)

  7. I want my hour back!

Seriously, I like DST, and I wish we stayed on it 365 days a year.
