Just a friendly reminder that it's time to stock up with those wonderful cookies. Sorry, the cookie patch isn't available in our area, so just put the second dozen boxes of cookies deep in your freezer. Buy cookies, seriously. As a former scout, I do know what a wonderful program scouting can be for the kids.
Fun Ferret Fact:The black-footed ferret, the rarest of the mustelids, makes its home in prairie-dog burrows on the North American Plains.
Mmmmmmmm....Thin Mints.
ReplyDeleteMmmmmmmm....Trefoils.
Mmmmmmmm....Girl Scout Cookies!
Yeah.......mmmmmmm is right.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, this year is a washout for me. Suffice to say, Girl Scout cookies are not on my "be good to me" list. Oh, the horror!
I remember selling Girl Scout cookies when I was but a mere Junior. Mother was the leader of my troop, and we had so many cool gals that also became good friends to one another. The camping trips, the giggling in tents as we stayed up long past "lights out", the hiking, the crafts. Now you've gone and made me nostalgic. I miss my gals. I've often thought of volunteering and maybe even being a troop leader. Who knows? Maybe someday. Thanx, my fuzzy little one, you've given me inspiration for a new blog!
Thin mints are my favorite. How about y'all?
Thin mints are good--I listed them first, but Trefoils with Chocolate Ice Cream is the BEST!!!
ReplyDeleteI do love the Samoas and Thin Mints. I cannot buy them, because I have absolutely no will power when it comes to these cookies. I have actually made myself sick with Samoas before. I was one cookie away from seriously "tossing" them. I know TMI.
